With the help of Composite C1 5.0 Beta 1, you will be able to link to data items and tree elements that are associated with a URL provider. Advanced developers will be able to register their own provider using the new RoutedData feature for the purpose of Custom Software Development.

The Composite C1 5.0 Beta 1 features data items and tree elements that are associated with a URL provider. These will render preview in the C1 Console browser when selected. Moreover, the tree elements will be auto-selected when you browse to such elements.

The Composite C1 also provides support for MVC with which you will be able to embed MVC Controllers and Actions in C1 templates and content. Composite has created an unique development model where you need not have to put any CMS specific code into your controllers.

Composite C1 5.0 Beta 1 enables you to rename the ID field for data types created via the UI. You can also choose not to make use of a GUID for the ID value. It is also possible to select fields on the data type that should be part of a data URL to identify the data. The latest release also enables you to host media files on a CDN and also provides support for deep linking into the C1 Console.

With the help of the new Dependency Injection feature in Composite C1 5.0 Beta 1, you will be able to auto instantiate a request-level object. It will also determine whether a list or detail view is being requested. The latest version provides an ability to map relations between URLs, data items and tree elements.

The C1 Page Speed report which ships with the v5 beta version measures the time taken to construct any given C1 page rendering. Moreover, the latest version provides support for dependency injection (IoC) on C1 Function parameters, which enables you to register a service provider for a given type/scope.
